Jon Bailey
lowercase i is Jon Bailey's inaugural album - eight alternative folk songs from 2018, his only official full-length release to date. Jon wrote the songs and played acoustic guitar, lead vocals, and harmonies; Lucio Rubino produced and played bass, keys, electric guitars, and harmonies; Albert Cruz played drums. The hand-painted cover features the little green birdie that became a signature image: raw vocals, upside-down guitar, and songs that move from intimate confession to dry humor.

Released in 2018, lowercase i is Jon Bailey's inaugural album - eight songs recorded with producer Lucio Rubino at The Fish Tank Recordings after years of writing since Maine and a decade of stages across the Southeast. The title is humility made literal: a quiet i when the world wants a capital one.
The record was born in a hard season - rebuilding after loss, depression, and the noise of a life that kept moving faster than healing. Writing and singing were how Jon processed it; the studio was where that honesty became tape. Midway through the sessions, a flood at Lucio's studio nearly wiped the project. They salvaged what they could and finished anyway. What you hear is persistence: pain, humor, and the choice to keep walking forward.

The Artist
Jon Bailey is a singer/songwriter from Maine, writing songs since age fourteen. He plays his guitar upside down and backwards - and somehow makes it feel like the only way music was ever meant to be played.
After moving south, he spent a decade of consistent gigging and live performance across the southeastern United States - from living rooms to festivals, Colonial Quarter stages to community recordings. He released his inaugural album, lowercase i (2018), and earned a #1 local ranking on ReverbNation's alternative charts in Saint Augustine. His powerful vocals and raw connection with the crowd leave a mark that doesn't fade.
Beyond the solo work, Jon contributed original songs to Local Honey - a Saint Augustine community album and documentary - and Tales from the Ancient City, a compilation for the city's 450th commemoration. He recorded lowercase i with Lucio Rubino at The Fish Tank Recordings and remains active in the Northeast Florida songwriter scene. Press and tourism profiles list him on Visit St. Augustine's official musician directory.

Questions
Quick answers for fans, booking, and anyone trying to find the musician - not the voice actor.
Jon Bailey is an alternative folk singer-songwriter based in Saint Augustine, Florida, originally from Maine. He plays guitar upside down and backwards. His inaugural album is lowercase i (2018); his next album is Grief Eater (in progress).
No - I'm the folk singer-songwriter from Saint Augustine, not the voice actor.
The title is a metaphor for self-doubt. When we write about ourselves, we capitalize I - a small grammar that says this person matters. A lowercase i inverts that: the self made quiet, uncertain, almost hidden. It also reads like a little stick figure - humble, human, a silhouette still standing. The album wears that honesty on its sleeve.
Inaugural album lowercase i is on Spotify, Apple Music, ReverbNation, and YouTube. You can also play it embedded on this page.
